Goose Face and Crazy Monkey are some of the messiest eaters I’ve ever seen. Okay, maybe all toddlers are messy, but mine seem to be EXTRA messy!
I’ve even caught Monkey slyly tossing food on the floor. I’m not kidding. She’ll look at me or the hubby out of the corner of her eye as she slowly slides her food off of her tray and onto the floor. Sometimes, she will even make her mouth into an “O” afterward, as if she’s asking “what happened?!”.
As a result of my messy eaters, my puppies (really, they are 5) get extra yummy stuff to eat on most days.
Ali (referred to as Ali Girl) and Macy (referred to as Little Macy – or “Wittle Bacy” by Goose) hang around the high chairs while the girls eat (probably hoping for the sly droppings by Monkey), and then literally pounce as soon as the girls are done and have left the table.

I guess it’s a good thing that the puppies clean up the floor though. Because I’m the kind of mom who just turns a blind eye to my own kids eating their food off the floor.
