My 5 year wedding anniversary was this past Saturday. It’s crazy to me how quickly time flies. It’s been 5 years, and I have 2 kids?! What??!!
The hubby and I met in high school (insert “awwww” here). So, really, we’ve been together for almost 13 years. Obviously, that isn’t proving to be too unlucky!
And, yes, we are among the ones who got married on 07/07/07. Haha, it totally wasn’t planned that way. I promise. It was just the way the dates fell with vacation. Trust me: it was more stressful than a “regular” wedding day would be, in my opinion. EVERYTHING booked up quickly (if it wasn’t booked already!).
So, 5 years ago, here is how happy we were!
We spent our honeymoon at DisneyWorld, which was probably THE BEST vacation I’ve ever been on. Hands down. We had an absolute blast!
Now that we are out here in SoCal, we were able to spend our anniversary at Disneyland (ha, are you surprised?!). We had the kids in tow (it’s hard not knowing anyone to babysit anymore!), but we still had fun.
We even took a picture without the kids (Happy Anniversary buttons and all
).
Where would you spend your anniversary?
Happy Monday!

Congrats!
Thanks!
Thank you so much for linking up with us! Come back every other week
AND HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! My hubs and I are celebrating our 4-year this year. We also met in High School! Cheers!
THank you! I had fun linking up and look forward to the next one!
Congrats on your upcoming 4-year!
How fun! We got the Anniversary pins last time we were at Disneyland, too. Isn’t it fun when all the ‘cast members’ wish you Happy Anniversary?! Glad to have found your blog through the GFC hop!
Considering I love attention, then yes – I love being wished “Happy Anniversary!”. My hubby on the other hand…
Happy Anniversary! We just celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary. We’ve been together for 14 years in September. It makes me feel old. But it makes me so happy.
(You can read about it here http://jennsnotsoglamorouslife.blogspot.com/2012/06/just-for-fun-friday-letter-to-hubs-on.html )
I’d spend my anniversary at Disneyland too. The Hubs doesn’t care for Disneyland (HOW did I marry this guy?!?!) He’s only gone with me once, to take our boys. So no such luck. We went to Santa Monica instead. Meh, at least I got some nice pics out of the deal
Seriously, how does he not want to be at Disneyland every day?! LOL I know other people like that, though! Congrats on the 10 year!!
